We compare both types of toothbrushes  to help you decide which is right for you.

Which Is Better:  Electric vs. Manual Toothbrush?

Electric toothbrushes have a rotating  head, which helps remove plaque and  bacteria from teeth. Manual toothbrushes  rely on a person’s brushing motion to  clean teeth.

Electric brushes are great for people  with limited mobility, as they don’t require  any hand movement. You hold it against  your teeth, and it will do the work.  They are also quicker than manual  brushes. They are better for kids and the elderly who can’t brush their teeth  properly with a manual toothbrush.

Electric toothbrushes are more affordable  in the long run. They have longer battery  life, require less maintenance, and give  better results. Only the head should be replaced after 2 - 6 months, whereas a  manual toothbrush has to be replaced at  least once every 3 months.
